Los Angeles, CA. - Here are the three nominees for the 2010 WILD Match of the Year.
1. Chloe vs. Kiara Dillon - This was the historic first-ever match for the World Independent Ladies' Division! It happened on 5/22/2010 at Pro Wrestling Uprising and decided the first WILD World Champion. This is the one that started it all! It was covered in Muscular Development and by numerous internet wrestling radio shows. The whole phenomenon of WILD began with this match.
2. "The NY Knockout" Nikki vs. Amanda - This is considered possibly the best technical match of 2010. Insane Wrestling League hosted this match at their Sicko Sircus event in Chino, CA. on 9/10/2010. It was well-fought, exciting and even featured a post-match run-in by Christina Von Eerie. This set up what is sure to be a phenomenal match between Von Eerie and Amanda at some point in the future.
3. Thunderkitty vs. Liz Savage vs. Lucky O'Shea - This is the most controversial match in WILD's history. Although not the most technically sound match nor even the most monumental, it became an exciting brawl. To be honest, this match is more famous for the online flame war that happened as a result of backstage antics and the nodq.com video that was released afterward that detailed the show where this match happened. It is a nominee for this award, since it got the WILD brand out there more than any other match (for better or worse is still to be determined).
