Los Angeles, CA. - The Wrestlereunion convention starts today at the LAX Weston. The World Independent Ladies' Division does not have a booth there (this year) but many of the WILD Warriors will be in attendance as vendors and guests of other companies. Here is a list of how and where to find the WILD Warriors at Wrestlereunion.

Friday 1/27

Arenachicks - On Friday afternoon, Arenachicks (with whom WILD has a working relationship of sorts) will have a mini-show with matches featuring the best Arenachicks action. The good news for WILD fans is that many of the Arenachicks are also WILD Warriors. 2 WILD Warriors appear for WWE!

Los Angeles, CA. - When World Wrestling Entertainment came to Southern California recently, they were looking for two female wrestlers to make an appearance in a TV commercial also starring WWE Superstar Sheamus. Lizzy Valentine and Buggy Nova, two WILD Warriors, filled those roles. Also, Buggy was given the special honor of wrestling in a tryout match against AJ Lee in a dark match before a live event.

In the past, Lizzy has been approached by WWE, but has turned down their offers due to other commitments. This is Buggy's first work for WWE. When the commercial is released, you will be able to find it in our "WILD Warriors' Outside Projects" subsection (found to the left of the screen).

Los Angeles, CA. - The World Independent Ladies' Division has come to terms with Traci Brooks to become the newest WILD Warrior. Brooks is a veteran competitor who has been seen in TNA/Impact Wrestling, Women Superstars uncensored and numerous other independent wrestling companies.

WILD Owner/Co-General Manager Travis Leland issued the following statement...

"We are very pleased to have Traci Brooks become the newest member of our roster. As always, we strive to bring the biggest and best names in women's wrestling to our fans, and the addition of Traci to our roster is another huge step toward our goal of becoming the number one all-female wrestling organization."

The Minions Will Rise!

Every day, we get many texts, emails, Tweets and so forth asking me when WILD will have a match in (name of city)? We get asked how fans can get more involved in WILD. We have been doing a lot of thinking about this recently, and we have come to some conclusions.

We have spoken at length recently about how much the fans mean to WILD Wrestling. We have been coming up with ways to make the fans a more important part of this company and we think we have found a way to do it.

JOIN THE MINION TROOPS!

You will now have a chance to join the Minions and become an official member of the WILD Fan Club. All you have to do is look to the left of the screen and find the "Join The Minions" page, then leave a comment stating your name, Facebook or Twitter account, location and the words "I'm doing MY part!" You will then be contacted by somebody giving you further instructions.

PROJECT MAINSTREAM!

Once you become a WILD Minion, you will have the opportunity to move up in rank, from "Entrant" to "Plebe" to "Official Minion" to "Veteran Minion" to "Head Minion." To do this, you must complete certain requirements or "Missions" that will help to spread the word about WILD Wrestling to the masses. We call this "Project Mainstream" and it is your duty as a Minion to participate in it, to help WILD Wrestling take over and become the number one women's professional wrestling company in the world.

If you want WILD Wrestling to be the dominant organization we all know it can be, and if you want us to come to your local independent wrestling company, you need to help us get there. Here are the nominees for the WILDAward for "WILD Warrior of the Year" As always, vote for your favorite in the poll on the left.

1. Allison Danger - The SHIMMER standout came roaring into WILD, challenging then-WILD World Champion Amanda to a title match in Las Vegas. One of the most respected and feared women in the industry, she made no bones about her intention to become the WILD World Champion on her first match for the company. But in doing so, she refused a match against Buggy Nova, who fans had voted to see as Danger's first match. Buggy is still upset about that, nearly a year later. Amanda was unable to appear at the show, and quit WILD shortly after, leading people to wonder if Danger intimidated her to the breaking point. Either way, the addition of Allison Danger to the WILD Roster brought some attention our way, and it seems she followed through with her promise to "put WILD on the map."

2. Lucky O'Shea - The longest-reigning WILD World Champion, Lucky O'Shea dominated the early part of 2011. Every challenger fell to her, as she had strong showings against Thunderkitty and Tab Jackson. But her defining feud as champion was against "The Bloodthirsty Vixen" Amanda. After falling to Amanda in a 2 out of 3 Falls Match at IWL in January, Lucky forced WILD Owner to nullify the title change by revealing that Amanda was transgendered and therefore unable to hold the WILD World Championship. Months later, Amanda was reinstated and allowed to compete for the title, which she finally did, defeating Lucky in April for the coveted belt. But during her reign, Lucky O'Shea was dominant and brought a lot of visibility and controversy to the WILD World Championship.

3. Tab Jackson - The former "Tabitha Buck" was a mainstay in WILD in 2011. She was involved in many of the best matches of the year, including a fantastic WILD World Championship Match in Las Vegas against Winter. She started the year mostly unknown outside of Southern California, but made a name for herself in great bouts against Aiden Riley and then-World Champion Lucky O'Shea. Winter handpicked Tab to be her first WILD opponent, and a few months later it happened in Las Vegas for the vacant title. Although the underdog lost the match, she nearly had it won on numerous occasions. Tab Jackson embodies the best of WILD; she is a young upstart who wants to make a name for herself and works hard to put on the best matches she can against the best competition. That is what WILD is all about.

4. Terra Calaway - Another new face to indy wrestling, Terra Calaway shot from obscurity to being a household name in 2011. Although she got a lot of work outside of WILD, she made perhaps her biggest splash with us. She substituted for the absent Amanda in a losing effort against the debuting Allison Danger, showing her determination and guts. Later, she won the LuchaPro Women's Championship in a match against Amanda, which she defended numerous times against the best women in SoCal. After leaving LuchaPro while still champion, WILD sanctioned the belt as the WILD North American Championship. She defeated Buggy in a controversial bout to earn a shot at Winter's WILD World Championship in December, which resulted in a Match of the Year candidate as Terra refused to tap out, instead passing out in an extremely painful submission maneuver as an example of her heart and desire. Outside of WILD, Terra has become a popular name, often making radio appearances and writing a weekly column for 411Mania.com. Her star has risen so quickly and so brightly that WSU Spirit Champion Jessicka Havok has challenged Terra for the WILD North American Championship in early 2012.

5. Winter - The former WWE Diva and current TNA/Impact Wrestling Knockout came to WILD in February, looking for a good opponent. She found one in Tab Jackson. Months later, the vacant WILD World Championship was up for grabs. WILD Owner Travis Leland randomly picked two names out of a hat to compete in a "Luck of the Draw" match for it. Tab Jackson was picked, as was Shelly Martinez. Shelly was unable to appear, and the next named pulled from the hat was... Winter. In Las Vegas, Winter defeated Tab to become the WILD World Champion, just two days before winning the TNA Knockouts Championship on Pay Per View. She has been the Knockouts Champion twice, but has not yet lost the WILD World Championship. In December, Winter defeated Terra Calaway in one of the most watched matches in WILD history. Winter defeated Terra by pulling her up under a chair into a camel clutch, causing the "Vegas Vixen" to pass out, giving Winter the win by, fittingly, Knockout. She will begin 2012 as the reigning WILD World Champion, and we expect to see much more from her in the next year.

2011 WILDAwards - WILDest Moment of 2011!

So it's that time of year, where we all look back at what we've done and pledge to do better in the next 365 days. But when we look back at 2011, we see controversy, coverups and crazy women doing whatever they want to in order to get a hold of the coveted WILD World Championship.

Here are the WILDest Moments of 2011 - in chronological order. We want you to vote for your favorite on the poll to your left and the winner will be announced soon.

1. LUCKY O'SHEA OUTS AMANDA, NULLIFYING HER TITLE VICTORY.

1/21/11 - In January, WILD World Champion Lucky O'Shea had cheated her way to a victory over "The Bloodthirsty Vixen" Amanda at LuchaPro in Los Angeles. Days later, they squared off again, this time in a 2 Out of 3 Falls Match at IWL in Chino, CA.

Amanda won the grueling match - cleanly and with no interference. The audience cheered as they witnessed the fan-favorite achieve her dream of becoming a World Champion. But Lucky called over WILD Promoter Travis Leland and told him something. He asked Amanda if it was true and she said it was. After a few tense moments, he took the belt from Amanda and gave it back to Lucky O'Shea, stating that due to a violation of rules, although Amanda won the match, she was ineligible to win the WILD World Championship.

It turns out that Amanda is a transgendered wrestler, having been born male and only becoming legally female in recent years. This started a chain-reaction as Amanda was suspended for months pending a formal review. Leland was vilified, but promised that he was on Amanda's side and fought for her reinstatement. Fans were equally divided, as some felt that Amanda should have been allowed to keep the title and others did not. Months later, Lucky O'Shea's mystery opponent at IWL in May turned out to be a reinstated Amanda, who easily beat her for the WILD World Championship, for real this time. Amanda became the first transgendered athlete to win a major championship in any sport.

2. AIDEN RILEY DEFEATS TAB JACKSON BY...HAIRSPRAY?

2/25/11 - TNA Knockout Winter made her WILD debut as a fan. She told the IWL crowd in Chino that she would be carefully watching the match between Aiden Riley and Tab Jackson and the winner would be her first WILD opponent. During the hard-fought match, Riley rolled out and grabbed a bottle of hairspray, then distracted referee Jay Stone and used the spray to blind Jackson long enough to get the victory. While Riley celebrated, Winter announced that although Riley got the victory, the true winner in her eyes was Tab Jackson. Months later, Tab and Winter did face off for the vacant WILD World Championship.

3. AMANDA QUITS WILD, FORFEITS TITLE.

6/01/11 - Shortly after all the dust had settled and Amanda was settling into her World Championship reign, she unexpectedly tweeted that she was leaving WILD and giving up her title. She never gave any kind of explanation, either. She just... quit. It left fans and WILD Promoter Travis Leland scratching their heads in wonder.

4. ASHLEY MASSARO RETURNS TO WRESTLING, GOES WILD!

In late August, former WWE Diva and Playboy Covergirl Ashley Massaro tweeted that she wanted to return to the world of professional wrestling, and that she wanted to do it the right way - working the indys and moving up from there. Furthermore, she said she had been watching WILD Wrestling and wanted to start here! She contacted Travis Leland, and by the end of the day, they had made a deal. While Ashley trains for her in-ring return, she is acting as the co-General Manager of WILD.

The internet flew into a frenzy over this. Some good, some bad. But either way, Ashley is a WILD Warrior and the eyes of the world are watching what she does next.

5. REFEREE REVERSES DECISION AFTER DISCOVERING THAT BUGGY NOVA CHEATED TO WIN.

8/21/11 - In the world of professional wrestling, there is only one rule that is sacred: the referee's decision is final. But on this day, even that rule was broken. During the match for the LuchaPro Women's Championship (now the WILD North American Championship), Buggy used the title belt to hit Champion Terra Calaway over the head with it for the pin. The referee did not see the rulebreaking, and counted a pinfall for Buggy. She raised the belt,celebrating with her manager Shannon Ballard, when a fan loudly protested. The referee listened to the fan explain what had happened, and ordered the match to be restarted. While trying to pry the belt from Buggy's hands, he called for the bell. Buggy lost her grip and fell backwards over Terra, who rolled her up for the victory. The referee handed the belt back to Terra.

Buggy is still very angry about this outcome.

6. WINTER ATTACKS SHELLY MARTINEZ BACKSTAGE.

12/10/11 - The Setup: Shelly Martinez was supposed to battle Tab Jackson for the vacant WILD World Championship in Las Vegas. But a scheduling conflict forced her to pull out of the match. Winter was selected to take her place, and defeated Tab to become the WILD World Championship.

On December 10th, Winter successfully defended the title against WILD North American Champion Terra Calaway. Backstage, Shelly congratulated her old friend Winter on the victory, then brought up the fact that she could have been the champion instead. She then challenged Winter to a friendly match for the title. Here was Winter's response.

A Personal Message From WILD Owner Travis Leland

Dear WILD Fans,

I come to you tonight not as Travis Leland, the storyline co-General Manager of the World Independent Ladies’ Division, but as Travis Leland, the very real owner/founder/promoter of WILD Wrestling. I think we are all aware of what I mean when I say that. I am writing this because the past few days have seen the upcoming WILD World Championship Match mired in a very real, non-storyline, controversy. We have been inundated with phone calls, e-mails and tweets regarding the matter. Although our initial plan was to make no statement whatsoever about these events, it has now become apparent that WILD Wrestling as a company and I as WILD’s owner and founder must address the issue in order to explain our upcoming actions.

In October of this year, I was contacted by one Gary Yap, a longtime friend and former wrestling promoter, who had decided to run his first card in a number of years. He specifically asked me if he could host the upcoming Winter vs. Terra Calaway match. I agreed, glad that we had the backing of someone who had our best interests in mind. Our initial conversations dealt with certain specifics, which I was not too fond of. At WILD, we try to “fit in” with our host promotions, to adapt our style to match the style of the host. When Mr. Yap told me his list of things that he wanted from the WILD match, I was hesitant, but not entirely inflexible.

With the match set, both WILD Warriors arranged their schedules to make it possible, and I began to promote the match in my usual way. Everything was fine until it came to my attention that Mr. Yap had publicly made some rather inflammatory statements. Mr. Yap had, in the past, told me that he was not particularly a fan of women’s wrestling, and that he felt that the scene was particularly lacking in Southern California, a statement that very much influenced the creation of WILD Wrestling. When I heard that Mr. Yap was planning to explain his thoughts on what was “wrong with the state of women’s wrestling in SoCal,” I tuned into his podcast radio show to hear him describe these women (most of whom are on the WILD roster) as little more than “clothed porn stars” to be seen as merely “stroking material.” To be fair, Mr. Yap claims he was not speaking of women’s wrestling in general, but the women of Southern California, specifically.

My past experiences with Gary Yap have led me to understand that, while he may have valid viewpoints on certain subjects, he tends to lose those points in hyperbole and while he was not discussing WILD Wrestling, the targets of his near-slanderous remarks included members of the WILD Wrestling roster, including a former World Champion and even one of the WILD Warriors involved in the match that he himself requested to have at his show on December 10th.

In America and other free countries, people are given the right to speak their minds and openly discuss things with which they have a problem. But Mr. Yap’s lack of forethought and tact put WILD Wrestling, and more directly myself, into a difficult position. Mr. Yap has claimed that his intent is to help WILD by giving the Warriors the motivation to put on an even greater wrestling match than what they would have. I disagree. The WILD Warriors routinely put everything they have into each match in which they compete. And if this was his idea of a wrestling storyline, I wonder what could be gained from portraying a match on his upcoming card in an extremely negative light. And why would he not tell me that he planned to do this ahead of time, to get my approval and input? I do not believe that his comments were meant to be the catalyst of a professional wrestling storyline. In fact, I believe he intended to use WILD Wrestling and the WILD Warriors from the very beginning to prove his mysoginistic point of view.

At one point, I strongly considered rescheduling the match for another date at another promotion. Then, Mr. Yap put me in (what I assume he meant to be) a no-win scenario. He began to publicly tweet that he felt we were going to cancel the match, and that he dared us to go through with it. So now, if we don’t do the match, Yap will say we were too afraid to do it. If we do the match, he will overanalyze it, picking apart any minor flaws and “exposing” the Southern California females as not being “real wrestlers,” and loudly proclaim that he was right. In other words, if we do the match, Yap wins, and if we don’t do the match, Yap wins.

After discussing this issue with both Winter and Terra Calaway, as well as other people high in the WILD Wrestling organization, we have come to the consensus that there is only one way to get out of this situation with our heads held high and our pride intact...

On December 10th, 2011, Winter WILL defend her WILD World Championship against WILD North American Champion Terra Calaway at EPIC Pro Wrestling. We made a promise to our fans and supporters that this match would happen, and so it shall. Although we are officially making this match under protest, we promise to do everything possible to steal the show that night, and prove that Gary Yap is absolutely and unequivocally wrong.

At WILD Wrestling, we seek to elevate the status of professional women’s wrestling in the public eye as well as for the fans of mainstream wrestling. We do this by using talented wrestlers, interesting storylines, unprecedented fan interaction and a unique business model that allows as many people as possible to see our product. We hope that you will continue to support the World Independent Ladies’ Division, as well as other all-female wrestling promotions like SHIMMER Women Athletes, Women Superstars Uncensored, Pro Wrestling EVE, Arenachicks, Ice Ribbon, REINA, SMASH and Femmes Fatales.

The Road to 12/10/11...

Long Beach, CA. - As we draw near to the big day, here is some more information about the WILDWorld Autograph event and the WILD World Championship Match between Winter and Terra Calaway.

On the morning of 12/10/11, WILD World Champion Winter, WILD North American Champion Terra Calaway and WILD Warrior Shelly Martinez will each appear separately at the Long Beach Clothing Company. Each will be able to meet, greet, take photos, sign t-shirts, photos and the new WILD DVD.

Terra will be signing from 11:00 AM to Noon. Winter will be there from Noon to 1:00PM and Shelly will be there from 1:00PM to 2:00 PM. The Long Beach Clothing Company is at 4218 Atlantic Avenue, Long Beach, CA. 90807

There is no charge to get in. Items that can be signed will be sold at varying prices.

The first WILD DVD will go on sale on 12/10/11! WILD Wrestling Volume 1: "Into the WILD" will be only $10, so get it while you can.

I've contacted many promoters outside the US and a bunch in the UK have agreed to become affiliates of WILD that will run not only run the

WILD World Championship will be seen there soon but I am establishing the WILD European Championship which will be contested thru out that

Taking Down Breast Cancer With Terra Calaway

Long Beach, CA. - On Friday night, WILD Owner Travis Leland and WILD's Director of Media Relations, Jeff Meacham surprised a fan who was unable to attend the "Sign of the Times" autograph convention. Jade Hogan is a fan of WILD and a longtime Ashley Massaro fan who was upset about not getting the chance to meet her idol face-to-face.

So Meacham and Leland cooked up a plot to bring Ashley to Jade.

Also in this video, a reminder of what happened between Buggy and Terra Calaway. We will be hearing from both WILD Warriors soon in regards to those events.

But, getting back to Ashley... Remember when we announced that she had signed with WILD? As she trains and prepares for her return to the ring, she was promised another position within the company. A few weeks back, WILD Wrestling stunned the world by announcing our acquisition of former WWE Diva Ashley Massaro. We have been besieged by questions from curious fans. Instead of answering them ourselves, we decided to ask Ashley. In this exclusive interview, we ask the "Princess of Punk" some of the things we'd like to know.

SJ: When did you decide you wanted to make a return to wrestling? And why did you decide you wanted to go to WILD Wrestling above all others?

AM: For awhile now actually! I wanted to have time with my daughter, but now she's not so little and she's extremely busy with sports, which I'm so happy about. I have the time and thought this would be the right time. The passion to wrestle never left, and I'm more than excited to be the best I can be before making my debut once again! I chose WILD because Winter and I worked together in the WWE, and I really like her a lot and trust her judgement as a wrestler. When she joined WILD I looked into it and saw that a few others I've worked with in the past were there too, which I was stoked about!

SJ: What do you hope to accomplish this time around, both professionally and personally?

AM: Well, in my tenure with WWE, I never got the chance to become the Women's Champion. So what I'm really looking forward to is coming back fully trained and eventually have a title match and show the fans what I can really do in the squared circle!

SJ: What kind of fan reaction have you gotten from this announcement? And do you have anything you'd like to tell them?

AM: Wow, all I can say is, number one, thank you to all my fans and supporters who have stuck with me during this hiatus! I've been so pleasently surprised at the reaction I've gotten! My punks have stayed with me a long time. I've been off TV, too, which says something to me about their loyalty. It's just amazing and I love them so much for that. And for all the haters out there, they just motivate me more. They are part of the reason I want to show and prove what I am capable of and I'll have the chance to do that as a WILD Warrior! And what do I have to say? Just wait and see, punks. I'm going to make you proud for sticking with me.

"As you all should know by now, my fans are everything. I would do anything for you guys. It should also be stated that I absolutely love what Travis Leland and WILD is doing and the roster keeps getting better and better each day. I love working for WILD.

"So when I was told I would be wrestling for the #1 Contendership to the WILD Title, held by Winter, I was exstatic. So much so that I even put up my own LuchaPro Women’s Title as well. I had a tough battle with Buggy at LuchaPro on August 21st and even after she cheated and hit me with my title, I still won. I kept my LuchaPro Women’s Title and became the #1 Contender.

"It has been almost a month since that fight… Since then, I have had a flood of messages on Facebook and Twitter from my fans. They want to know when I will be taking on Winter. I continuously told them to ask WILD. They came back to me with no response. So then I began to ask. I contacted Travis and got no response. I think as the challenger, I deserve to know when I will be facing her.

"I have been preparing for this match and I am ready. I am ready, Travis. So why do you continue to ignore my fans and me?

The nature of the World Independent Ladies' Division allows us to schedule matches only when our affiliate companies are running shows. I can only schedule your WILD World Championship match with Winter when both schedules align. As of right now, I am working with all our affiliates and with Winter to make that happen.

"But I don't want to make you wait too much longer to get back into WILD action. I want to give you, your fans, and the fans of WILD some great matches while we wait for the title match. So I will send you some top-tier talent to face as you prepare for your match with Winter.

"This also allows me to introduce another new face to the roster of WILD Warriors.

"On Sunday, October 16th, at LuchaPro in Los Angeles, I will give you a world-class competitor. The founder of ArenaChicks and the newest WILD Warrior, Amber O'Neal!"

New WILD Warrior - Ashley Massaro!

New York City, NY - Early on Sunday, former WWE Diva Ashley Massaro sent a message on her official Twitter account (@ashleymassaro11) that she wanted to get back into the wrestling world after a multi-year absence. In her tweet, she specifically mentioned her desire to become a WILD Warrior.

In subsequent tweets, she stated that she wanted to focus on her in-ring skills and that she wanted to become a world champion in the sport she loves.

Later in the day, WILD Owner Travis Leland made contact with her and they spent much of the afternoon coming to terms with each other. It is now official that Ashley Massaro is the newest member of our roster.

But word is that she won't be stepping into the squared circle - just yet. Ms. Massaro will hold a different position in WILD until she feels the time is right to re-enter the ring. Although it is unclear what role she will play in the World Independent Ladies' Division, Mr. Leland has told us that she is indeed a member of our organization.

A Call to Arms

The time has come where I take this term “womanist” and make it my own. Not just for my sake but for the sake of women wrestlers and the fans who know that change MUST happen now.

Female wrestlers-how sick and tired are you of men in suits in their offices telling us “Oh, yeah, you are great but you need to surgery/weight loss/look like every other female on the roster to really be considered”? Notice how the terms “train harder at practice” or “improve your in-ring skills” are not a part of this. Why do fans walk out during our matches? Why should we be the popcorn or piss break? Because for too long now we have been told our looks are the only thing people want to see. And history has proved my theory. We as wrestlers have become complacent. Why work harder when some fake hair and a crash diet are all we need to succeed? This is simply not good enough anymore. And if you think it is good enough, then this revolution is not for you. Be prepared to get out of my way and the way of those who are ready to fight for change.

Now don’t misconstrue this as an “anti-plastic surgery” rant. You want something larger/smaller/completely different then go on with your bad self. I am not here to judge and I will openly admit that I nearly went down that path myself. But never let anything overshadow your passion for wrestling. Never let it take down your desire to improve, to grow, to be the best WRESTLER you can be. Do not let it make you lazy. Do not rest your laurels simply on your cup size.

It is time we show offices and fans alike that looking different makes us special, not unemployable. But at the end of the day, what is most important is our performance. Are you not sick of being told “eh, you are ok for a girl”? I am. But I can’t potentially change a mind without looking at myself, seeing where I need improvement and actually DOING IT. I feel fortunate that there are women in this business who are leading by example. Despite their years in wrestling they have not once stopped trying to be better. Without knowing it, they are my inspiration. Despite the cattiness people assume when females are involved, I am happy for the successes of these peers and will continue to cheer them on. I would rather delight in some healthy competition and try to rise to their level than attempt to discredit them or hold them back to my level or lower. Ladies, let us delight in the successes of hardworking peers and hold ourselves to a higher standard.

Bookers/Writers- When did pride stop being a reason for a match? Why, when woman are involved, must it be about “bitch, you stole my man” or “I can’t believe she is wearing my/that outfit” or “everyone is just jealous of my beauty”? Until you start booking female wrestlers under 17 how about we keep that high school booking out of it? Why, in certain promotions, must every female be associated with a male wrestler (usually in a sexual context) to be considered worthy of tv or ring time? A women’s division should be just that: a division of female wrestlers. Make it about pride, about sport, about who is the best wrestler, about gold. Please stop turning this into a silly catfight that undermines both the talent and the fans. A possible rule of thumb: If Maury Povich would have a show on it then maybe its not meant for a wrestling storyline.

If your females are drawing the best ratings don’t cut their time and segments. Why punish them for being successful? Maybe tighten up YOUR work and give everyone better storylines. There is so much tremendous talent, contracted and not, but EVERYONE within a promotion and company pull their weight for the better of the product. From the music guy to the ring crew to the wrestlers to the promoters/owners-we all have to pull together and work as a cohesive to take all of professional wrestling to another level.

Fans-Just as there are different genres of wrestling, they are different genres of fans. For those who see female wrestling simply as fodder for your tissue soiling, please know deep down you are not and never will be my motivation as a wrestler. What you and your genitalia do on your own time has nothing to do with me and my performance. For the fans who simply hate women in wrestling and have permanently closed your mind to the possibility, best wishes to you. You are as hopeless a cause to me as I am to you. This revolution is for those who love us/hate us/indifferent to us but whose hearts open to the potential of what women’s wrestling can be. You have a voice. Use it proactively. If you hate what is on television then shut it off! Find what you do like and respect and support them. If you hate American female wrestling, don’t punish the Joshi scene, give it a shot. If there are 32 flavors of ice cream, why limit yourself to vanilla or chocolate? Have a favorite female independent wrestler, especially one who does not fit the “mold”? Show your support. Follow them on Twitter, come to indy shows they are on, rock their shirts. But please show your support in a respectful manner. Emailing powers that be with “you are an idiot if you don’t hire XYZ” will just fall on deaf ears. Posting on message boards that “Wrestler XYZ is the greatest ever nuf said” then sticking your fingers in your ears will fail you every time.

If everyone does their part we can, as a whole, bring female wrestling to a whole other level. We can rise like a phoenix from the ashes. Let us take back female wrestling and show that, if done right, 32 flavors can be incredible.

I am aware that in past years, I have sinned against what I am preaching now. But by fronting this revolution, I accept my mistakes, I accept my responsibilities and I pledge to give 100% to changing the future. My signature below is my promise to the Womanist Revolution.

WINTER BECOMES NEW WILD WORLD CHAMPION!

Las Vegas, NV. - The "Luck of the Draw" match is in the history books, and Winter is the new WILD World Champion! According to the rules, both WILD Warriors made their entrances, then watched as WILD Owner Travis Leland randomly drew a match type out of a hat.

The capacity crowd at Freak Show Wrestling laughed as the paper read "Dance Contest." Although Winter seemed upset by this, Tab Jackson was enthusiastic about it.

Tab began to dance first, even grabbing the FSW referee to join her. After a moment, Winter decided she had seen enough and clobbered Tab, then demanded that Leland pull a new match stipulation. Leland refused. "It's the luck of the draw! I can't!"

"Your Beautiful Nightmare" looked at Leland, gesturing, and he seemed to go into an almost trance-like state. He walked forward and handed her the hat. She pulled a new match out herself and was much more pleased with the result.

"No Holds Barred," she proclaimed to the audience, who cheered enthusiastically.

What followed was a match that was as hilarious as it was athletic. It was a see-saw battle, with Tab taking punishment outside the ring, then turning the tables and humiliating Winter by tricking her into dancing and, at one point, even riding her like a horse!

Just when it appeared that Tab had the upper hand in the match, a mysterious figure in a metallic red mask and black cape came through the curtain and distracted Tab long enough for Winter to recover and nail Tab in the head with the championship belt, recently vacated by "The Bloodthirsty Vixen" Amanda.

As Winter held her new title aloft in victory, Tab lay almost motionless on the mat.

Luck appeared to turn in Winter's favor last night. Will she be as lucky on Sunday at "Hardcore Justice" as she wrestles Mickie James for the TNA/Impact Wrestling Knockouts Championship?

WINTER REPLACES SHELLY MARTINEZ!

LOS ANGELES, CA. - A new competitor in the "Luck of the Draw" match for the vacant WILD World Championship has been found. After Shelly Martinez pulled out from the match, due to a booking conflict, WILD Owner Travis Leland threw the names of all the remaining WILD Warriors back into the now-famous top hat and after mixing them up, drew Winter's name.

What makes this interesting is that earlier this year, Winter scouted WILD Warriors Tab Jackson and Aiden Riley at a WILD match for IWL in Chino, CA. At that time, Winter said she wanted Tab to be her first opponent in WILD competition. Amazingly, through the luck of the draw, that match is now a reality.

"Your Beautiful Nightmare" has her sights set on two major titles this week as she takes on Tab Jackson in Las Vegas for the WILD World Championship, then challenges Mickie James for the TNA/Impact Wrestling Knockouts Championship days later at that promotion's "Hardcore Justice" Pay-Per-View. Can she finish the week as a double champion?

Not if Tab Jackson has anything to say about it.

The "Luck of the Draw" stipulation holds that the type of match will be pulled out from a hat moments before the match begins.

WILD World Championship Match Set For 8/4!

Las Vegas, NV. - WILD Owner Travis Leland has been working with numerous ideas on how to determine which two WILD Warriors would compete for the vacant World Championship. There were thoughts of having a tournament. No tournament format, however, was satisfactory. Leland thought of compiling win/loss records or finding where the Warriors ranked on lists like the PWI Female 50 or the Respect 50.

Eventually, one of his trusted advisors jokingly commented that "it would be easier to just draw names out of a hat." After the laughter subsided, Leland began to think about it.

"It was actually a pretty good idea," Leland said later. "WILD has always prided itself on giving relatively unknown women a chance to shine. Most of the WILD Warriors had little exposure outside of California, so one of my reasons for starting the company was to push them to new audiences.

"There have been four World Champions in the 14 months since I founded WILD. None of them have ever held a championship before. It wasn't how it was planned. It just worked out that way. So in the spirit of giving everyone an equal opportunity, I thought 'why not?' Why not just throw the names of every WILD Warrior into a hat and draw two names at random. It levels the playing field. It doesn't play favorites. It would be easy to just give the opportunity to two former champions or one of the more well-traveled women on the roster. But that would hold down some of the people that have been here since the beginning and given a lot for this company."

So Leland went with the idea. And here are the results...

So it's set. The vacant WILD World Championship will be awarded to the winner of the match on August 4th in Las Vegas at FREAkSHOwWRESTLINg. Good luck to both Tab and Shelly in their quest for the gold.

By the way, it appears that our history is repeating itself. Neither Shelly Martinez nor Tab Jackson has ever held a women's championship.

Martinez was seen in WWE's version of ECW as the vampiric "Ariel" and in TNA as "Salinas." She also appears as the superheroine "Sprinkles" in a series of videos on www.shellymartinez.org.

Shelly Martinez has said that her impact on the World Independent Ladies' Division will come sooner, rather than later. What does that mean for the title picture? The WILD World Championship is still vacant as the WILD Championship Committee decides how to handle the situation.

The Divine Miss Yim has been seen in Ring of Honor, SHIMMER Women Athletes, Combat Zone Wrestling, and REINA in Japan. She will make a welcome addition to an lready strong roster of WILD Warriors.

Will Mia be entered into the upcoming WILD World Championship Tournament? There has been no official word yet on the format of the tourney, nor about the participants. But we can say that if Mia Yim enters, she's an early favorite to walk away with the gold.

AMANDA QUITS WILD AND VACATES WORLD TITLE!

LONG BEACH, CA. - Amanda has decided to leave the World Independent Ladies' Division effective immediately, thereby vacating her WILD World Championship. She has promised that she will explain her reasons for this decision in the next few days.

Amanda won the belt from Lucky O'Shea after a long, bitter feud, during which Lucky revealed to the world that Amanda is a transgendered person, sparking a legal battle that lasted months. Amanda was reinstated into full active competition on April 22nd, 2011, immediately winning the belt in her return match. Amanda announced via her Twitter account that she was leaving WILD on June 1st.

This vacancy leaves a huge hole in the company, but it also leaves the opportunity for one woman to achieve her dream. The WILD World Championship is the hottest prize in women's wrestling today. The WILD World Champion has the opportunity to travel anywhere and face any woman in any company. What makes WILD unique is what will make whomever holds the belt famous!

WILD Owner Travis Leland has announced that a tournament is being arranged and will be announced soon. How this tournament will be arranged and who will be in it is anyone's guess at this point, but one thing is for sure... it's going to get WILD!

Los Angeles, CA. - Yesterday, May 22nd, was the first birthday of the World Independent Ladies' Division. It was on 5/22/2010 that Chloe defeated "Krazy" Kiara Dillon for the WILD World Championship in the first-ever WILD match at Pro Wrestling Uprising in Highland, CA.

"It's amazing to think what we've done in just one year," said WILD Owner Travis Leland. "We've become a recognizable brand and produced some of the most talked about moments not just in Southern California, but in all of women's wrestling."

In just 365 days, WILD became a force in women's wrestling, with thousands of unique hits to the website every month, and the WILD World Championship has been defended in seven indy wrestling companies in California, with our Las Vegas debut later this week.

"This next year will be important," said Leland. "Now we've got momentum, we've got recognition and we've got a lot of unfinished business. Year two will be about taking things to the next level and giving more people the chance to see the WILD Warriors in action."

When pressed into talking about future plans, Leland didn't want to say too much.

"Maybe full shows. Maybe an internet pay-per-view. We're just kicking around ideas at this time, nothing finalized yet. The sports world is abuzz about last Friday's historic WILD World Championship Match. "The Bloodthirsty Vixen" Amanda has been reinstated by the committee and make quick work of her hated rival, Lucky O'Shea, to become the new (and fourth) WILD World Champion. She is also the first transgender athlete to win a major title in any sport.

The WILD offices have been flooded with emails, phone calls and interview requests and our Twitter feed (@WILD_Wrestling) has exploded with both support and concern. Here are a few comments from Twitter...

* "Amanda is a woman. No matter her birth it matters whats in her heart&mind." - @PocketVolcano

I hear that some changes might be happening in WILD. The other day, WILD Owner Travis Leland made a comment about how WILD "needs to live up to its name better." Not sure what he meant by that.

The WILD World Championship will be defended outside of California for the first time next month! Leland spoke with the organizers of Freak Show Wrestling in Las Vegas and have arranged to have a series of matches there. Presumably, that means Amanda will be representing our company there. But who will be her opponent? Will Lucky O'Shea want a rematch? Will Nikki cash in her title shot? Las Vegas is the home of Allison Danger, and perhaps she will make her WILD debut then. Buggy mentioned that Amanda would "see her soon," could that happen at the Freak Show? Freak Show Wrestling works closely with former WWE Superstar Kizarny and his wife, former WWE Women's Champion Stacy "The Kat" Carter. Will she want to get involved somehow? NEW WILD WORLD CHAMPION!!!

CHINO, CA. - "The Bloodthirsty Vixen" Amanda won her case with the WILD Championship Committee, was reinstated to active competition and, in her return match, defeated longtime nemesis Lucky O'Shea to win the coveted WILD World Championship.

Lucky O'Shea had issued an open challenge for anybody on the roster to come and try to take away her title. She was surprised when her opponent was Amanda. Lucky had outed Amanda's transgendered status after their amazing 2 out of 3 Falls match in January. Amanda had defeated O'Shea in that match, but the crafty redhead outed Amanda's status to WILD Owner Travis Leland, who was forced to reverse the decision and return the belt to Lucky. Amanda was then placed on suspension pending review by the 5-Person Committee. Wrestling fans around the globe gave their thoughts on the situation, some positive and some negative. Going into last night's show, the committee was deadlocked at 2-2 with one vote still undecided. That vote belonged to Head Official Jay Stone, who oversees the Rules and Regulations of the World Independent Ladies' Division.

Jay's decision officially allowed Leland to reinstate Amanda, and he placed her in the match at IWL's "Crossout" in Chino. Amanda ran through the curtain and attacked O'Shea before the bell. With revenge on her mind, Amanda made it clear that failure was not an option. After a surprisingly quick match, Amanda walked away, finally, as the WILD World Champion!

Lucky was not the only one displeased with the night's outcome, however... Buggy had originally been scheduled for a match against Allison Danger last night, but travel problems forced a change in plans. Buggy felt slighted by the powers that be in WILD, and decided to confront the new champion about it.

All in all, it was an historic night not only for WILD, not only for professional wrestling, but for organized sports of any kind. Amanda is the first transgender athlete to win a world championship in any sport. That is an accomplishment, no matter how you look at it.

But this is indy wrestling and these things are always subject to change. Allison Danger will be unable to make the appearance, and the match was scrapped.

BUT FEAR NOT, WILDWorld, we have something that will keep you happy until that match can be rescheduled. WILD World Champion, Lucky O'Shea, will be defending her title in Chino this Friday. Who will be her opponent? Will we get to see Buggy anyway? Will Nikki finally cash in her title shot? Could it be a returning favorite? Could it be somebody that has never appeared in WILD competition?

Lucky will need to be on her toes, because it could be anybody walking into that ring.

BREAKING NEWS: The scheduled WILD World Championship match that was to take place at the The Official Insane Wrestling League Fanpage tomorrow night between Lucky O'Shea and Terra Calaway will be postponed for a later date.

Unfortunately, personal issues came up with both competitors, and neither will be able to appear as planned. We will let you know when the match gets rescheduled, and at which of our affiliate companies.

We will still present Allison Danger's WILD debut against Buggy next month at IWL, as planned.

* I've been hearing rumors that the case regarding the reinstating of Amanda to the World Independent Ladies' Division may be nearing an end. Right now, four of the five committee members have mentioned that they have made up their minds. I guess management is waiting to hear from the fifth member before they make an official statement. I, for one, hope that we see Amanda back soon. She's an amazing talent and brings a lot to the table in WILD.

* WILD is starting to get more and more coverage by major wrestling news outlets. Aside from Diva Dirt, we are regularly featured now on Women of Indies, Ringbelles, Diva-Fiva and even in Respect Magazine, where WILD Owner Travis Leland has been asked to write a series of articles. Recently, Leland did an interview for hittheropes.com and on the Women of Wrestling podcast. The word is spreading and people all over are starting to "go WILD."

* Speaking of which, I hear that WILD is in talks with a major wrestling affiliation group. This organization has 46 affiliates in 6 territories in 15 states as well as 7 countries on 4 continents. But one thing they do not have is a World Women's Championship. If this agreement goes through, the territories of this organization will all recognize the WILD World Championship as their top female title. WILD would still travel to companies that are not affiliated with this group, but all companies in the group would recognize WILD. Or something like that. I'm not really sure, since the higher-ups are keeping this one pretty close to the chest. But if it's true, that would be a huge deal for everyone involved.

On that note, I'll sign off this time, but I'll be back next month with more rumblings from the inside.

Chino, CA. - Two monumental debuts changed the face of the World Independent Ladies' Division last night at the Insane Wrestling League, a WILD-affiliate company in Southern California.

TNA Knockouts Tag Team Champion, Winter, came to the ring first to an incredibly loud pop from the packed American Legion Hall. She announced that she was proud to be a part of the fastest-growing all-women's company in the world and that she was excited to watch the match that was about to happen. Why?

"My opponent for my first match in WILD will be the winner of this match."
Winter and WILD Owner Travis Leland made their way to the commentary table to talk with Steel Cage Radio during their live webcast of the show.
Out came the two competitors, Tabitha Buck and the debuting Aiden Riley. The diminutive Riley grabbed the microphone from IWL ring announcer Tony Graziano and announced herself.

After some initial feeling out, Aiden took control of the early part of the match, with some fast action and some vicious submission moves. Eventually Tabitha, the young cousin of Max and Jeremy Buck of TNA, began to make a strong comeback, culminating in a headscissors takedown that dropped Riley right on top of her head, sending her out of the ring to regain her senses. While on the outside, she found time to eyeball Winter at the announce table.

As the referee turned to stop Tabitha from leaving the ring in pursuit, Riley grabbed a can of hairspray and held it behind her back as she re-entered the ring. She seductively drew WILD Senior Official Jay Stone close to her, wrapped her arms around him and sprayed Tabitha in the face, before tossing the can away. She then rolled up Tab for the pinfall victory, to the dismay of the hot crowd.

Winter grabbed a microphone and headed back to the ring. "There is only one thing I hate more than a sore loser, and that is an undeserving winner," said the former WWE Diva. "Aiden Riley, you may have bent the rules to win this match, but the real winner in my eyes and in the eyes of all these people, my first opponent in WILD is Tabitha Buck!" The audience roared in approval as Winter raised Tab's hand in victory and Aiden Riley pouted her way to the back.

It was a great night for both WILD and IWL, and WILD will be back in Chino on March 25th at the next IWL event.

CHINO, CA. - Controversy and tension reigned at the end of the WILD World Championship match last Friday at IWL in Chino.

"The Bloodthirsty Vixen" Amanda defeated Lucky O'Shea in a 2 of 3 Falls Match for the WILD World Championship. The referee raised Amanda's hand in victory as her theme music played. Amanda's manager, Katie Locke, hugged her in the ring. The audience cheered. It was the perfect ending to a great story. Amanda finally got her shot at the title and finally defeated Lucky O'Shea.

At this point, O'Shea grabbed the referee and told him something, which caused him to call WILD Owner Travis Leland into the ring for a discussion. A hush fell over the packed American Legion Hall as Leland, Amanda, the referee and other WILD and IWL officials argued and discussed...something.

Leland went to Amanda and asked her if "it was true." She said it was. Leland went back to the huddle for more discussions. A few moments later, IWL ring announcer Tony Graziano made the following announcement.

"Ladies and gentlemen, Amanda is the winner of the 2 Out of 3 Falls Match, but some new information has arisen. Although Amanda is the winner of the match, due to a violation of a core rule of the World Independent Ladies' Division, she is ineligible to compete for the title. So Your WILD World Champion is STILL Lucky O'Shea!"

The audience erupted in both cheers and boos, and a chant of "We Want Answers" began. Amanda and Katie were visibly upset by the decision. Amanda even went so far as to hit a nasty DDT on the champion before leaving the ring.

So what rule did Amanda break?

"She didn't exactly break any rules," said Leland by phone the following day, "but Lucky told me something, and Amanda confirmed it, that disqualified Amanda from challenging for the WILD World Championship."

"The fact of the matter is that this is the World Independent Ladies' Division. Any woman in any company in the world can challenge for the title. That is the core foundation of this company. And the truth is that Amanda is not exactly a woman."

Amanda is actually a transgendered person. She was born male, and from an early age identified as female. As she grew, Amanda began hormone therapy and cosmetic procedures to begin her transformation to female. Since first appearing on the professional wrestling scene nearly two years ago, Amanda has wrestled as a woman in numerous companies.

But the fact remains that Amanda is genetically male. This raises many questions about transgendered people in professional sports.

"What if a guy went through a sex change and played in the WNBA" asked one WILD Warrior who wishes to remain anonymous. "The still have the physicality of a man. That could be an unfair advantage."

Leland spoke with Amanda backstage after everything had calmed down. One of our producers wanted to capture the conversation on her cell phone. Here is the video...

Leland has promised to represent Amanda to the WILD Championship Committee. If he can get a majority vote within the board, the rule can be changed allowing Amanda to compete in WILD. Until then, Amanda is suspended. We will keep our fans updated on the latest developments in this story.

WILD at PWE Results

Los Angeles, CA. - Changes had to be made to the announced WILD World Championship match last night at Pro Wrestling Entertainment in Los Angeles. Tabitha Buck, young cousin of TNA's Generation Me, was unable to appear. "The Bloodthirsty Vixen" Amanda, who happened to be in the audience at the show, offered to take Tab's place. WILD Owner Travis Leland allowed Amanda to be in the match, but could not allow it to be for the title.

"She's lost every WILD match she's been in," said Leland. "I can't let her have a title shot before the women who beat her get theirs."

The match was fast and furious, with many lucha-libre-inspired moves. At one point, O'Shea pulled off a running hurricanrana, sending Amanda crashing to the mat. Amanda, however was noticeably larger and more powerful than the champion. Near the end of the match, as Amanda was in control of the firey redhead and the referee was distracted, O'Shea grabbed a nearby energy drink can and cracked Amanda in the head with it. With her opponent dizzied by the blow, Lucky rolled up Amanda for the victory.

This was odd behavior for the fan-favorite champion, who has always played fair in her matches. When Travis Leland asked her about it afterward, O'Shea told him not to worry. "I'm the good guy here, Travis," she said. "Trust me. I did what was best for WILD."

What did she mean? We won't have to wait very long to find out. The two were already scheduled for a match at Insane Wrestling League next Friday. It will now be a rematch - this time with the World Title on the line.

Los Angeles, CA. - Lucky O'Shea will defend the WILD World Championship this Sunday in Los Angeles at PWE (Pro Wrestling Entertainment), a lucha libre company. O'Shea has named her opponent in this match.

"I know we just did this, but I am going to put the title on the line against Tabitha Buck," said O'Shea. "She really impressed me with her moves at IWL (on 12/10/2010), and I want to give her another shot. She almost beat me then. Let's see how she does now that she's familiar with me."

Whomever walks away from PWE as the WILD World Champion will not have long to rest. There will be a title defense at IWL on Friday, the 21st. The opponent for that match has yet to be named, but "The NY Knockout" Nikki is still the number one contender for the championship.

* 2010, our first year of existence, saw the WILD World Championship make its way to five different indy feds in California. 2011 looks to be a year of expansion. We are currently in talks with companies in Arizona, Texas, Kentucky, Nevada and Oregon to take the WILD World Championship on the road even more.

* WILD World Champion Lucky O'Shea is becoming very popular. Not only is she seen in WILD, but has been featured numerous times on NWA Championship Wrestling From Hollywood against some stiff competition. Now it appears that her background in lucha libre could be getting her even more work. Word has it that an up and coming lucha federation in Southern California has shown some interest in bringing both Lucky and WILD to their fans.

* "The Bloodthirsty Vixen" Amanda has been chomping at the bit to have her match against Christina Von Eerie. Following the events at IWL back in September, Amanda has been training non-stop for her shot at CVE. But Von Eerie has left Southern California for Florida. Von Eerie has promised to come back for this long-anticipated match, but her busy schedule has been conflicting with Amanda's.

"Don't worry," said Von Eerie when I asked her about it, "I haven't forgotten about Amanda. I'll be back to put her in her place."

In the meantime, Amanda will be working some matches for WILD while she prepares for the showdown.

"I have a plan," said Amanda. "I think that if I have a certain title belt around my beautiful little waist, I'll have an advantage when Von Eerie finally comes to town. She'll stare across the ring and see me with something she doesn't have - something that will show her that she's not dealing with a young upstart. She'll see that she's staring into the face of the best wrestler that WILD has."

Does this mean that Amanda has her sights set on taking the WILD World Championship away from Lucky O'Shea? If she succeeds, then Von Eerie will have a real challenge on her hands. But will Amanda be spreading herself too thin? Would a loss in a high-profile match to the World Champion cause her to lose her confidence?

No matter what happens, this is a really interesting story and I'll be sure to keep you all updated on it.

2010 WILD Warrior of the Year

Here are the nominees for WILD Warrior of the Year...

1. Chloe - The first-ever WILD World Champion got the company off to a big start, using her background in bodybuilding and experience in indy wrestling to get WILD off to a running start. Shortly after winning the title, she was profiled in Muscular Development Magazine. Her reign lasted 100 days.

2. The Fabulous Thunderkitty - The outspoken and controversial former WILD World Champion saw, came and conquered. Her hard-hitting style and "take no prisoners" attitude set her apart from a lot of the other women on the roster.

3. Lucky O'Shea - The bubbly redhead and current WILD World Champion is extremely popular with the fans. Her 5 years of experience have given her the tools to be a long-term champion, and she has the desire to hold the title for a long time. She is the current face of the company, and will be making promotional appearances and performing other duties in her capacity as the World Champion.

Los Angeles, CA. - The 2010 WILD Awards are in full swing. With only a little over a week left, we will announce the nominees for the final two categories. Here are the nominees for the OMG Moment of the Year.

1. Thunderkitty Comes From Nowhere and Wins the WILD World Championship

On August 29th, Chloe was defending her WILD World Championship at Xtreme Zone Wrestling in Apple Valley, CA. Thunderkitty had never appeared for WILD before, and was not expected to win the coveted title. Yet after a hard-fought match, as Chloe held her up for an F-5, Thunderkitty gave a rake to the eyes and rolled up Chloe for the pin and the Championship. From that point, Thunderkitty became the woman to beat in WILD, and Chloe has been conspicuously absent ever since.

2. Liz Savage Debuts and Steals a Title Shot

On September 26th, Lucky O'Shea was scheduled to wrestle against Kitana Vera at The Fit Pit in Chatsworth, CA. Kitana had to cancel leaving then-VP of Talent Relations, Jeff Meacham, to find a last-minute replacement. Out came Liz Savage, from Pinebush, NY. Lucky was unprepared for the substitute and seemed almost overwhelmed at times. However, she managed to keep her cool and seemed ready to pick up the victory and the title shot. But Liz rolled up Lucky and, with her feet on the ropes, stole the title shot away from the fiery redhead. Yet, after the match, the unpredictable Liz actually accused Lucky of being part of a "redhead conspiracy" that was supposedly keeping Liz from getting the WILD World Championship. The repercussions of this match would be felt for some time.

3. "That" Video

On October 23rd, Jeff Meacham allowed a crew from www.nodq.com to follow him around to see what he did behind the scenes at an indy wrestling show. The resulting video polarized the internet wrestling community in a way that hadn't been seen in years. The mojrity of fans gave it very positive reviews, but many critics and wrestlers were horrified at how it "exposed the business." Meacham resigned from his duties in WILD and more than one wrestler has left the company in protest. This one incident caused waves in the company which has forced WILD into a new direction WILD.

4. The Death of Jimmy Quinn

On December 10th, at Insane Wrestling League in Chino, CA. Lucky O'Shea successfully defended her WILD World Championship against the debuting Tabitha Buck. After the match, the Champ called WILD Owner, Jimmy Quinn into the ring and began to run him down, calling him the "sleaziest" promoter she's ever worked for. She then claimed that there was one promoter who really had the potential to win over an audience and take a company to new heights. She then revealed that it was Travis Leland, not Jimmy Quinn who could do this. Travis Leland is the real name of the man who portrays Quinn. She told him it was time to stop hiding behind a character and to just be himself and trust in himself. This was a first in many ways. Travis nodded his head and the two embraced, and walked out of the ring together. It appears that "Jimmy Quinn" is now, for all intents and purposes, dead. Travis Leland is the one who will take WILD into 2011. If this wasn't an OMG moment, we don't know what is.

WILD Back In Action at IWL

CHINO, CA. - WILD World Champion Lucky O'Shea will put her coveted title on the line at Insane Wrestling League in Chino, CA. on Friday, December 10th, 2010.

Although WILD had announced a hiatus through the holidays, due to popular demand, we have decided to showcase the WILD Championship at IWL's "Wreck The Halls" event. Lucky O'Shea has agreed to defend her World Title on the line against a debuting Tabitha Buck. Tab, the young cousin of TNA's Generation Me, signed with WILD over the summer but has yet to appear in a match for us. That will change as she has challenged Lucky for the title.

This should be a good one. But even more intriguing is the fact that the Champ has said she has a very important announcement to make at the show on Friday. When asked what she was going to talk about, she only said, "I need to get something off my chest and I have to tell somebody EXACTLY what I think of them."

For much of the past year, Lizzy has been training in pole dancing, which she claims makes her more flexible and durable in the ring. But there is another great side effect of her interest in pole dancing... we get to watch her do it!

After a strong showing at Hedonism in Jamaica last month, Lizzy will be appearing as a professional pole dancer for the first time in the USA on Dec. 9th!

* It's been a crazy month for WILD Wrestling. There have been a lot of positives and more than a couple of negatives. Now that things are settling down, I hear that WILD Owner Jimmy Quinn wants to take the company in a different direction. I overheard him talking on the phone about how he wants to improve the in-ring product while also pushing the envelope in a few ways. He said something about "less PG" and something about "a new attitude" in 2011. It remains to be seen what he meant by that, but I'm pretty sure that means WILD will be living up to it's name in the near future.

* Christina Von Eerie and Amanda are still chomping at the bit to resolve the issues that broke out between them at IWL's "Sicko Sircus" show, back in September. Von Eerie has been spending a lot of time away from Southern California, doing work in Mexico and Florida. Amanda has spent a lot of time recently on the road in New York and elsewhere on the East Coast. When will their schedules permit them to finally step into the ring together and finally work out their differences?

* My sources are telling me that the higher-ups are very pleased with WILD World Champion Lucky O'Shea. When a lot of the craziness happened last month, Lucky stayed positive and gave her support to the company and gave ideas to Quinn and the others. On top of that, the fans have been very vocal in their feelings about the World Champion. And they like her...a lot! I'm pretty sure she will be the breakout star of WILD in 2011.

* The "Expand The Brand" campaign is kicking into high gear. We are trying to get 500 followers on Twitter (@WILD_Wrestling) and 500 fans on our Facebook Group by January 1st. So please tell all the fans of pro and indy wrestling that you know about WILD. Let's get the word out and grow the company in 2011!

Here are the Nominees for "Sexiest WILD Warrior, 2010"

1. Lucky O'Shea - Lucky brings a hometown "girl next door" cuteness to WILD. Her fiery red hair and deep blue eyes help her stand out in this group of beautiful women.

2. Lizzy Valentine - Recently voted #6 on the Diva-Dirt.com list of 100 Hottest Wrestling Divas. She beat out every TNA Knockout and every female indy wrestler. Only 5 WWE Divas scored higher on the list. When not in the ring, Lizzy has recently been working on her pole dancing skills. She is the woman to beat on this list.

3. Nikki - "The New York Knockout" has a unique look and style that she uses to disarm the men just as quickly as she takes down the women. Her tough, "take no prisoners" attitude and quiet confidence make her a street smart kind of sexy.

4. Kiara Dillon - Sweet and sassy, Kiara takes over a room when she walks in. She has bombshell looks, with blonde hair and blue eyes. She will make a big impact in WILD in 2011.

5. Chloe - A former WILD World Champion, Chloe has a physique unlike anyone else on the roster. A fitness and bodybuilding competitor when not wrestling, Chloe has worked hard to give herself a near-perfect body.

6. Christina Von Eerie - "The Punk Rock Princess" has been tearing up the Squared Circle for a while now, and her alternative look and style have contributed to her success. CVE is a force to be reckoned with in and out of the ring, where she is the frontwoman of a punk/horror band. But she does have a softer side, which is on display below.

7. Amanda - Mysterious, dark, talented and undeniably sexy, "The Bloodthirsty Vixen" has been wowing audiences with her lucha libre moves and looks.

Los Angeles, CA. - Here are the three nominees for the 2010 WILD Match of the Year.

1. Chloe vs. Kiara Dillon - This was the historic first-ever match for the World Independent Ladies' Division! It happened on 5/22/2010 at Pro Wrestling Uprising and decided the first WILD World Champion. This is the one that started it all! It was covered in Muscular Development and by numerous internet wrestling radio shows. The whole phenomenon of WILD began with this match.

2. "The NY Knockout" Nikki vs. Amanda - This is considered possibly the best technical match of 2010. Insane Wrestling League hosted this match at their Sicko Sircus event in Chino, CA. on 9/10/2010. It was well-fought, exciting and even featured a post-match run-in by Christina Von Eerie. This set up what is sure to be a phenomenal match between Von Eerie and Amanda at some point in the future.

3. Thunderkitty vs. Liz Savage vs. Lucky O'Shea - This is the most controversial match in WILD's history. Although not the most technically sound match nor even the most monumental, it became an exciting brawl. To be honest, this match is more famous for the online flame war that happened as a result of backstage antics and the nodq.com video that was released afterward that detailed the show where this match happened. It is a nominee for this award, since it got the WILD brand out there more than any other match (for better or worse is still to be determined).
